On the night of Friday, December 6, 2025, we’re hosting a late-night fundraising benefit in Tampa to provide direct, on-the-ground relief for victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
This is not a generic fundraiser.
This fundraiser isn’t just about raising money — it’s about taking action where others haven’t.
Through direct personal contacts on the ground, we’re channeling funds and supplies straight to families and communities that have been overlooked or delayed by the larger system.
And when communication networks went down, Eric F. Gilbert — founder of ReliefRise — personally reached out to Elon Musk to request free Starlink emergency satellite phone and internet service for Jamaica, ensuring that victims and responders could stay connected during the crisis.
Every dollar raised from this event helps keep that mission alive: getting real help, real fast, to the people who need it most.
Every ticket, every drink, every dollar beyond hard costs:
All profits go directly toward Hurricane Melissa survivors in Jamaica.

Why This Event Matters
Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica and parts of the Caribbean with catastrophic force, causing:
-
Severe wind damage and infrastructure loss
-
Massive flooding and displacement
-
Long-term disruption to power, water, and communications in vulnerable communities
While large organizations are raising funds, many communities are still waiting. Our team is focused on:
-
Getting help into hardest-hit and harder-to-reach areas
-
Working with trusted local contacts instead of slow or politicized channels
-
Supporting connectivity and communication so families can call for help, get updates, and reconnect
You’re not just donating “to a cause.” You’re helping real people in specific communities that are being actively mapped, contacted, and served.
